Not with a cable. I downloaded the free program, downloaded a reference file, made a couple changes, then loaded it on 4 radios. Haven't needed to touch them since. I could mail you the cable and the SD card if you promise to ship it back. PM me if you end up buying some.

Yeah, specifically using the UV-5R model. I've used them in deep valley rocky terrain and heavily timbered areas and they work for miles. Shocking how much better these cheap things are vs. expensive Motorolas.

Clear, stackable storage bins on shelving. I like being able to see what's inside without opening. Tried the more robust black ones from HD but don't like them as much as the clear for ease of use.
Get the big ones for backpacks.

I'm literally going through this right now. My company went public this year and I cashed out some shares to realize those "gains" and reduce my risk exposure to a single stock. I just put it back into the S&P500 because I don't have any other use for it and it's all a windfall in my opinion so...
Agree with this and I think that's where some of the people disagree with Dave. I'm definitely not in the pay off the house early camp at a 2.5% interest rate because I can crush that return in the market.
AND if you still have a 4% mortgage you should refi immediately!!

You were on my mind this weekend when I found this, so took a picture of what super fresh elk scat looks like. Green and shiny, and STANKY!

I'd recommend Leica. I upgraded this year based on others recommendations here and could not be happier. I went with the 2400 and it consistently will range anything right up to 2400.

As with the above 2 posts: dog treats
I throw them in the dehydrator to finish them off. Bag em up and you have months of amazing dog treats. If you don't have a pup, give them to a friend with one. Way better than the crap you can buy at the store

What elevation? I don't do alcohol in the backcountry because I struggle staying hydrated as it is. Altitude sickness is no joke. If your body hasn't been through it before and you don't know how it will react, I would highly caution against drinking.
Ditch the hatchet and let your buddies...
I have a ranger 1500. It rarely reads above 800 so I would expect the 1800 wouldn't reliability read above 1k. Definitely would not recommend vortex if your goal is to shoot out to 2k.
FIL has a SIG (not sure which model, maybe 2200) and he's not happy with it.
I was impressed with the leupold...
You're barrel is way too close to the Caldwell if the muzzle blast is knocking it over. That's why you are getting so many errors. Put 10-15ft between your muzzle and the chrono
