I tried these on and was impressed. Lightweight, supportive, and fit my foot great. That said, they were very stiff, as in you're in a ski boot.
If I ever draw sheep or goat, these are on the short list.
In case anyone stumbles across this thread, for the Maven CS.1A, the 55-56 ring with the 105 spacer works great.
Now I just need to find something interesting to photograph!
So I finally got around to mounting my Magview S1 to my Maven CS.1. I'm wondering if I set the eye relief properly.
Here's is what I see through my phone. Note that the image is "cut off" at the top and bottom.
Also, while the spotter is "usable" with the Magview attached (i.e., just looking...
Not to hijack the thread, but given these numbers I'm wondering what really happens (or if there's any stats on this) when a former OTC unit goes to draw.
Do the remaining OTC units get more pressured (i.e., people move units but still buy OTC tags) or does the state sell less OTC tags (i.e...

I really like solving technical problems, but my job involves less and less of that with each year of experience.
As a heads up, the first few years of undergrad you get bashed over the head with math and physics. I'm someone who learns from doing or seeing a practical example...
Last year I handled the B1.2s, B.2s, and B.6s and ended up with B.2s that I love.
I am telling myself I don't need B1.2s, but those would be my choice if weight was a concern.

You know things are going in the right direction when there are people at this meeting with their pronouns proudly displayed that have no background in wildlife management.
Shot my worst Vegas round ever today. Had a kid in November that decided to show up five weeks early so this is the second time I've shot in three and a half months.
Not to throw a wrench into your plans, but I can't say enough good things about my Havalon.
I'm OK with a sharpener, but I can't get anywhere near as sharp as Havalon blades out of the wrapper.
BP was running a 20% off sale a week or so ago. Since my favorite Prana Zions have been "re-imagined" and the new version is terrible, I'm on the search for a new go-to pair of pants for early season archery hunting.
Bottom line: these are a massive disappointment overall and not worth the...
Got in the Zamberlan 1104s and they fit pretty good overall. I will likely be keeping these to at least break them in to serve as a baseline for how other boots will be judged. Worst case scenario, they will end up as back ups.
Initial impressions are that they are well made and pretty...
I absolutely love my B.2s. Highly recommend them. Amazing low light performance and great image.
They are a little chunky, but well worth that trade off.
