Wondering if anyone would recommend calling in black bears in the fall. This is my first fall targeting bears in CO (always had an add on tag, just struck out with deer/elk tags this year), so any advice is appreciated. Any particular brand/model call I should look for (I've developed a...
I'm really enjoying the system so far. My CS.1 always felt like it had great (not perfect) optics at 15X that degraded as you zoomed in. With the MagView, I'm able to use my phone's digital zoom in combination with the scope's optics, which gets me some really nice image quality.
Great budget...
In case anyone is wondering about sizing... I ordered a 11.5 (Euro 45) and an 11 (Euro 44.5). I have one foot that's about a euro size larger, so everything is a compromise. In previous boots, I have generally sized to the smaller foot and have yet to be burned by being too short. The one time...
I've always found that "Jaws Release" seems to be the correct option and matches what qSpine spits out. It tends to be slightly weaker than the "Tied Loop" option.
I have (had?) an L4-L5 and L5-S1 disc issue. Yoga is the only thing that keeps me going. You don't have to tell anyone you do it, but it honestly kept me from the operating table after I swallowed my pride.
Obsidians are really, really quiet and I would love them if they fit a little better. I tried the "foundry" version and they had just enough of the "reinforcement" material to swish when I walked.
I'm a huge, huge fan of the Prana zions.
Also, South Cox stalks muleys in his underwear to...
On this very forum. I guess I shouldn't be repeating rumors: https://rokslide.com/forums/threads/born-primitive-frontier-light-pants-review.298986/#post-2958517
To whoever twerked in front of my camera during last archery season in Colorado in a ghillie suit, I had an awesome laugh when I pulled the camera today.
I too am a huge fan of the Attack pants, but they run hot for my liking (I run hot in general), even with the fart vents fully opened.
Here's my rundown of a couple pairs of pants I tried: https://rokslide.com/forums/threads/my-early-season-pants-review-over-analysis-incoming.225115/

I tried one and the bow felt very, very front heavy and the bow's balance was greatly affected by how many arrows I had in the quiver (think follow up shots).
After getting another pair of these to try, I stand by my original assessment.
They are awesome fitting boots (for my narrow and low volume feet) that are just too stiff for my liking and use case. If I had a sheep tag or if I wanted to summit 14ers all summer in Colorado, these would be my #1...
I bought a pair of these off of Black Ovis today (as a heads up, they're on sale). Wondering how I'll like a Flex 3 after using a Flex 4 (Colorado) for the past two years. The Zamberlans I got this winter (1104) to replace my Colorados ended up being way too flexible and run hot.
The Colorado...
So long story short... the Zamberlans I bought are too flexible for my liking. Didn't realize this until some heavy pack training in the hills.
I have a pair of Ribelle Lite HDs coming Sunday. Will keep y'all posted.
At this point, I've spent more money on Italian boots in my lifetime than my...
