I just started using the Danner Sierra boot this year for Upland hunting. It's only 200gr thinsulate and I find it just enough to take the edge off from chilly feet over too much insulation.

I use "Harris Hunts" Outfitters in Montana. Destry Harris is a great guy and runs a tight ship. Def worth a look for you. ~$6500-ish, so should meet your criteria.
I have used this for roughly 5 years....basically 20 different flights without any issues. Double TSA locks and cinch strap around the middle of the case. No issues and leaves more dinero in my wallet for more cool gear...because looking cool in the field is what it's all about. :)...
Yep...same here. Went to the Chiefs football game last night, and now anticipating my Elk hunt in Montana next week. No work is getting done today....or Mon/Tues.
