I have an Apple Watch Series 5, the latest and greatest, I have had for about a month. I haven't really used it and don't think I will ever understand all that it does. It is the Nike version in the Space Gray Aluminum Case. It looks and functions like it is brand new. It will come in with...
If you glass big open country, get the 12x50’s. Put them on a tripod and you won’t need your Nikon spotter as the Swarovski Binoculars will be far superior. The 12’s you can use well off hand as well.
If someone talks you out of Swaros, they have never owned them or don’t really glass as a...
I personally would go large to start. As long as it doesn’t bottom out, the more belt to hip contact the better. If the large bottoms out, I would exchange the belt for a medium.
I have a 33” waist and run the large and it doesn’t come close to borrowing out.

All that stuff adds weight and the Ultra is designed to be streamlined and lighter. I don’t think they will make lots of different models of bags, just a few in different sizes, which is plenty for me.
It seems all these elk you speak of were killed, so maybe it’s more that the hunters didn’t do their job well on the tracking. I don’t know the circumstances of the elk you are talking about though.
I also think it is up to my buddy to know his limits and if they feel good about their rest and...
Here is what I have found with the Hammer’s and other copper bullets; fouling is quick and the Achilles heel on accuracy. Then if you shoot lead before after or during it gets even worse. I think you have about 15-20 rounds with copper before you need to clean it out completely.
The Pro 3600 is my go to bag unless I am packing in for several days and then I run the Pro 6000.
There has been some discussion of building a Pro 4800 in the future, but it is just a thought at this moment.
I have posted plenty in this thread about them. I have packed out several animals and they have been far superior to the originals and their bags are better than anyone’s IMO. Overall they are lightweight as well so you don’t start out with a nine pound set up to start with.
