The Alps are rugged and the farther from the trailhead you get, the better the hunting.

    Blacktail or Mule Deer?

That they will, but I don’t know of any Columbian Blacktails from CA that have been entered outside the boundaries that had a good DNA test. There potentially could be a couple, but it is extremely rare.

    Blacktail or Mule Deer?

For Ca F&G, they get samples tested for about $20. I believe, P&Y, B&C and F&G all have processes i. Place to do the testing. Private companies like DNA Solutions charge private parties more than that, but most deer DNA is done for breeding not species identification for the most part.

    Blacktail or Mule Deer?

Just their reports. But because a buck is presumably the dominant buck, doesn’t mean a buck is a Blacktail because 25 breeding seasons ago it was dominant. The reason the boundaries are what they are is to ensure the integrity of the records book. So bucks east of the boundary line don’t qualify...

    Blacktail or Mule Deer?

I doubt that map has ever been on the fish and game website. I also don’t think the biologists swear by it. I know many people that dna their bucks because they say their blacktails and there has yet to be a single one that is. Biologists I presume have some of that data so I doubt they swear by...

    Blacktail or Mule Deer?

That map from the forest service is as random as any other. There is a better chance if getting struck by lightning that finding a Colombian Blacktail as Far East as that map shows.

    Blacktail or Mule Deer?

You guys are crazy. I always go with what the C Zone guides say, therefore they are blacktails. That way they can sell more hunts and convince the non educated hunter that the mule deer they just shot is a black tail and they are closer to their deer slam. Duh!!!

    28 nosler load help

If you were shooting factory ammo sub moa, did you measure that coal? Did you run your reloads at that length? Maybe your gun likes that length. I would also back order the n-570, I think it is much more temperature stable than rl-33.

    12x50 bino harness

I run the FHF and love it. I only want a bino cover and the FHF is minimal so it is small in size for the binos.

    FOC and Arrow Trajectory Tested

Yes, I can set my LabRadar to record five velocities, every 20 yards out to 100 yards. It is excellent to see how arrows respond, especially with broad heads.

Yes they have those. I do remember the Gen 1’s did not have this extra material allowing the pocket to have a little more bellow to it.

It would be a Gen 2 then. Looking at it, the side pockets are fairly huge.

I didn’t recall them having two generations. There was a bikini timberline that I remember. If there is a feature on one that is not on the other, let me know and I will check.
