I have an extra Kuiu Pro 3600 bag looking for a new home. It has one five day trip on it. No issues with it at all and no modifications made.

I have a like new pair of Salomon Quest 4D 3 GTX Backpacking Boot. They are size 11 and have about 15 miles on them. They are the Phantom/Black/Quiet Shade Color. Not a thing wrong with them and appear new.

That’s not a bad suggestion. Bucks there stay up high through the weather as well. Just remember the general season, I believe, ends a week earlier than the rest of the B Zones.
I would personally get the L/XL frame with the large belt based on what you described. Once you get it, dress like you would for your hunt and cinch it down to see how the belt fits.
Honestly, I would turn that tag back in and take a point. That zone hasn’t produced much in the last five years. Very few deer are killed with archery gear per year compared to the number of tags given, usually around 5 - 7% total success and one or two bucks a year that are decent.
You need to get above the thick timber for archery hunting. You also need to get away from lakes if possible as it will get the majority of hunters and hikers. I was just up in the Alps for four days, 9.5 miles in and never saw another person after about mile four. You should look for country...
You can shoot to about 375 at Spenceville, but I wouldn’t recommend going on a weekend. First light during the weekday is best. For more than that, you could find a spot in the mountains and shoot.
Billy Goat is spot on, weaker spine is equal to better groups especially at long range.
The worlds best shoots a 520 spine arrow with 60 pounds and 120 grains up front. On paper this is super weak, but in reality, they are more forgiving and group the best.
This is purely field points though...
Western Mountaineering makes a bag expander for sleeping bags. It is the slickest thing going to make all bags more comfortable. It is about 9” at the top and 5” at the bottom.
Kevin Wilkey wrote an article on it for Kuiu last year and it didn’t change the speed at all. Just don’t serve the upper portion of the string and it will be bullet proof.
I prefer the no wax method, zero, zip, nada and none are my favorite brands. I personally think wax hurts the strings more than they help. Dirt, dust small debris stick to it and work their way into the fibers and can damage the fibers. I don’t see any benefit to using it. That’s just my...
I think the reason most people think there is so much wind drift is because the can’t hold as well so their dispersion is so much worse.
I know several pros have shot from inside and protected to the outside with significant wind and their groups are still fairly tight.
And those guys with the...
