    I just picked up a Howa 1500 mini in 350 legend today. Was thinking about doing your exact build. Do you think you’ll go with the round nose or pointed bear creek? I want to try the 125 hammers in it but haven’t purchased the necessary reloading crap for it yet.

    Yeah for sure. Also good as insurance during training where I usually just use the 550 with that normal e-collar. It's probably $300 wasted but at this point, with dogs and regular hunting, who is counting lmao

    Might pick up the garmin lte dog tracker just as a backup for my alpha 200i. Seems like it wouldn't hurt and tbh I don't use the gps collar that often so having it on his normal collar is probably a good idea. Also plan on hunting woodcock every weekend of the season and am going on a quail trip...

    This. I usually use different luggage for normal trips vs international hunting trips for this reason. After a long day I’ve definitely thrown a loose round or two in a bag when taking them out of my pocket and I can see how someone could miss it if you get lazy.
