Great news. I buried my truck and my ATV this spring - separate trips but alone. It's a bad feeling. I had no cell coverage so it was just hours of hard work.
I don't know a lot about it but Doug Andrus trucking is big, and there is a massive truck stop, sales, repair site off I-15 near Idaho Falls. I suspect farming and the beer industry hire quite a few truckers.
You guys on here bashing him are fueling the anti-hunting fire. Like the guy or not, we need to quit attacking each other. Do your own thing and keep supporting the cause, not tearing down other hunters.
I always kept the grease pit in front of the bait; I learned this the hard way after I stepped in the grease and got it on my tree stand steps. It was a slick, dangerous problem for a while.
Exactly. When I got charged by a sow grizz and 3 cubs, it was clear she was going to hit my left side, where my spray was (I'm left handed). I drew my revolver with my right hand while protecting my head with my left hand. That move probably saved my life. This all happened in 6-7 seconds.
I killed my first bear in Ontario in June. Three of us went to my dad's cabin to hunt, and our contact did not place any bait as promised. We walked old log roads in the area and ending up taking 3 bears. This was many years ago, so I don't know what the situation is like now.
