    Hunt Redi and Final Rise are two I have been around and would serve the purpose described well. Those companies both support the VDD-GNA so I tend to try and use them as well.

    Tall people sleeping bags?

    We've used the Kifaru Gen 2 bag for tall sizes with good luck. I also sometimes use the very largest quilt that EE makes with good luck. I'm 6'7".

    Best picatinny rings?

    Typically use Seekins, have an Arc set, some nightforce. Can't really tell a big difference in any of them. I'd buy a used or demo Nightforce for any scope I needed these days.

    Just finished "Jim Bridger" by Jerry Enzler. Very well researched and written book covering Jim Bridger and the American west. Worth a look.

    Off season for the dogs

    That is so hot for drahts. Good luck in the test. Regardless, I found the test training helped all facets of hunting so I was a big fan of that. Anxious to work another pup down the road myself.
