    This is exactly what I use but switch back to a 15 degree sleeping bag once it’s below 30 degrees. I’m sure I could take the 40 degree down to 20 - 25 with puffy pants and jacket but I hate using attachment straps.

    Kutana pant material

    Regardless, I think they are way over hyped pants, and I own a fair amount of KUIU. One, for my build had to go up a size so the waist is kind of big. Two, the waist is stretchy and stretches out over a few days on a long hunt. Tey are very comfortable and dry out extremely fast.

    I would be curious what type of exterior nylon shell is used on the Sitka as compared to say pertex that is used in other high ends bags and outerwear. In my experience pertex does very well at shedding light moisture.

    Hunting outerwear vs ski wear

    I also use the sitka dewpoint rain jacket in a solid color as my hunting and ski jacket. As other have said, pants are totally different. I do not know any hunting pants that I would consistently ski in.

    Is your experience they dry slow? They are advertised as having no elastic and 100% poly therefore they should be no difference between attack and these in dry times.
