7mm rem mag powder

Imr7828 consistently gave me the best velocity in 7mm mag. I never did try h1000 since I couldn't find it when I was playing with the 7 mag.

Who’s still running balance beams?

Balance beam for me. I've dabbled with electronic but had some issues. Reloading is my quiet time in my shop. I wish the balance beam was slower honestly.

which lefty bolt 22lr for hunting grouse?

My t1x is an absolute tack driver. Really nice to go back and forth from that to a tikka hunting rifle. Same feel. Same triggers.

Options for reducing Tikka T3x recoil

The short answer is yes. I have the stockys vg on a 280ai and it really is a pussycat to shoot. It only weights 8lbs all in and the felt recoil with 180s at 2850 is less than from my 308 in a factory t3x stock .

The 31mm tekton open ended wrench from Amazon has worked for me for a few different tikka barrels now. It's the perfect size to fit the action with some cardstock between the action and wrench

What's your go to water bottle

What are guys using in the winter? I typically use a Nalgene and put it upside down so the threads don't freeze but was thinking of an insulated bottle. My 1l manna and yeti are too heavy

Tikka 260 AI

I have a tikka in 22-250 ackley as well as a 280 ackley. Both feed just fine.

Reloading 308 tikka

My 2 favorite loads that are basically interchangeable are 150 ttsx and 155 scenar. Both with 48gr varget l. 2990 and 2960fps respectively. Both shoot to same poi to 300 and I just stick to the scenar after that.

Help with Electrician Apprentice tools

It is a good trade but it's not without its downsides. It takes its toll on shoulders and necks. Especially commercial. Pretty much everything you do is overhead. My knees are also all scar tissue. Kneeled on way too many wafer screws in my career.

The new Vortex Razor HD 13-39x56mm, The Mini Razor

I ordered one Monday after work and got it Wed. I took it out scouting last night and am quite impressed with it. I had the 11-33×50 (still do but for sale now) so I'll do a bit of a side by side comparison today. I really like the new twist up eye cup design.
