That is weird. I don't have mine set on high and the display is really bright and visible in full mid-day sun... and I spend a lot of time, as in "all day" out glassing and ranging during season.

Yeah, I had one on a brand new 2020 truck I paid cash for. At 68,000 miles it had $9000 in engine problems and the claim was denied and credited to "normal wear and tear".
