Welcome to the forum. Elk hunting is a terrible addiction. But I hope to never overcome it! I like a .30 caliber rifle for elk. Have several of the .30s but always seem to grab a .300 Win Mag for elk. Good luck and enjoy.
Grizz charging "might" get the adrenalin pumping through the system. Hard to stay on target when looking at a big, furry bowl of Jello running at you.
Lucky guy.
It is really sad how our so-called leaders can openly obfuscate an issue, if the science, that they claim to believe and need to have to make a decision, doesn't go their way.
Many times and if you have any hills or go out on wet grass, you won't be happy with one. For flat, dry mowing they are fine but if you have any back issues, they will be pronounced after a mowing.
Hustler Super Z has mowed my 5 acres for the last 8 years. Zero problems.
I also have a John Deere and a Ferris but the Hustler seems to do all the work.
I would also say that a good dealer/service company would weigh heavily on my decision. Definitely any mower you buy should NOT be a...
Very good friend has worked for each of the big four dealerships and when I asked him which truck he would buy, he said, "I'd buy the one that had a color that matched your boat. They're all junk so at least look good while you're sitting buy the side of the road waiting for a tow truck!"

Elk, deer, antelope and black bear are pretty much the norm for us lucky Americans. I'd be thinking and looking outside the US and thinking of what you want to be remembering that...
