    150gr bonded or partitioned bullets are great. I also wouldn't hesitate to shoot an elk with one if you can keep the velocity up.

    Doesn't Sierra own Starline now? I'd be surprised if they don't just use in house components for their ammunition. edit: the ammo is loaded by BHA. BHA allegedly runs mostly winchester brass at their spec with their own head stamp. Wonder if this is the case for the sierra ammo.

    Best bino magnification range for mule deer

    A pair of 15-18x binos is well worth it in my opinion. Off a tripod it is very nice for picking deer out of the sage and much easier to stay behind the glass for extended periods of time.

    Sell it and buy a PRC tikka. It’ll probably cost you less money 🤷‍♂️ Anything more overbore than that seems silly. That bolf face really limits things. I’ve read plenty of folks have been able to run .532 based cartridges like a 26 nosler out of .545 by ymmv.

    Anyone loading 222 with Speer 70gr semi Spitzer ?

    They are pretty slow out of my 223's as the bearing surface is painfully long. Poor bc but stabilizes in a 9 twist.
