Longer Hunts - Camp Food Cooling - Propane or 12V Fridge - Other?

We do similar, 5 cu/ft freezer with a honda gen. Block ice, ziploc tubs, and bottles. Change out the fridge ice blocks and refreeze. Should have went this route years before. Shade on the food tent helps. R

Do they really climb 1500' or 2000'

Parked the truck at 7300, went to 9500. According to the topo maps. Watch has clocked over 400 flights in a day. I'd guess it counts up and down. R

Forum- a place, a meeting or medium where ideas and views on a particular issue can be exchanged. Didn't find the part about having to agree... Also, if one disagrees is that hate?... R

    Contact Wearers

The ones I mentioned above are very permeable and soft. I start with a new set at the begining of a hunt and carry a backup set or two. As they weight nothing no real downside. Phone can be used as a "mirror" if you need to swap a pair out. Closest thing to having regular vision again. R

    Contact Wearers

For hunts acquire Acuvue Oasys contacts. Bring extra 2 pair and solution. Have been wearing extended wear for a long time. Work in way less than ideal conditions for contacts. Wear two weeks and chuck them. R

Hickok45 cuts official ties with NRA

A bit off original op. The 2nd states arms. No where in the COTUS does it say the government has the authority to decide what that means. We are arguing about a right. Rights are not given by the government. They are inherent. A tactic used by the anit gun folks forever. Make the argument about...

BHA Supporting Legislation Outlawing the Sale of Information on Big Game Locations

This reminds me of the "ethical" range to take a shot. So many trying to tell everone else how and what they are allowed to do. Similar to watching TV, if you don't like the program don't take part in it. Something I haven't seen in this dicussion is the amount of money/effort being put forth by...

BHA Supporting Legislation Outlawing the Sale of Information on Big Game Locations

As more of the "potential" hunters are raised in the cities/urban areas the less likely they have family or access to hunting traditions. I've seen this trend even in rural areas. The where and who to do it with is diminished. R

BHA Supporting Legislation Outlawing the Sale of Information on Big Game Locations

Why aren't hunting apps and other tech tools considered the same as coords for animal location? Both are a tools that can create a potential increase in success. Who gets to determine the line? Something to always keep in mind. Where there is money one will find ones willing to deceive. R
