    Driving to Alaska is further than you think. It was going to take me 57 hrs from idaho. I ended up driving 13 hrs to Washington and put our stuff on a barge and flew the rest of the way.     Stone Glacier SKY 5900 Concerns

    Bigger the better in my opinion. I have a 7900 evo (discontinued) from SG that’s great and I’ll swap the evo 3300 for day hunts. Thats the nice thing at SG packs you can switch them out.

    Yes sir. Think it was their first gen. Some of my buddies run the k4 and really like them. I think they are a solid pack. But I have had really good luck with stone glacier.

    50th birthday - hunting trip recommendations please

    Hunted a diy trip this year shot a Sitka black tail 2 hrs into the first morning at 50 ish yards. It was beautiful… travel from anchorage to POW was not bad I used Alaska air points. Just cost me the car rental 500$ for 4 days 5 nights. Brought my own tent. Got groceries right in Ketchikan...
