Alamo builds a solid rifle. I've got a 6.5 prc from them and am very happy. If your gun doesn't shoot .5 moa they will fix it. Give them a call and talk to them if you are concerned. -
Today I learned I don't know what a 300" bull is
Love this thread. I had no clue what it took to get to 300" either. If this bull wouldn't have broken his 5th he would have been ~310", as is he was right at 300". Just like your bull he had short main beams. It's all the more impressive when guys can get it really close on the hoof. -

Thank you everyone. I appreciate the help and advice. Cabela's is my best option for ordering. I've read of a few people hand loading BH209 and then just pulling the bullets or cutting shotgun shells open when they get there. Seems like a reasonable method no different than a loaded bullet...- robie

NV Guide Draw - Mule Deer
I just talked to my guide and he said the deer are way down. Offered my deposit back if I want to turn the tag back. Said haven't seen a deer that would hit 180". Not the news I was hoping to hear. Anyone turned their tag back before in NV? I'm sure it will be a while before I draw again but... -
