Just checked it out, good looking tent but only has the two cross poles. We have a few trips a year that require additional support or tents get flattened, seen so many flat tents out there it's crazy. Makes for a tough sleep night even if they stay up.
We have a 6 man and absolutely love it, had it probably 12+ years and still going. I gave it to my other son when the wife bought me a Kodiak. $300 is spendy but maybe I should just do that, solid tent. Might take up a bit more space in their Jeep though, hmmmm.
You bought a house that wasn't ready to reside in, therefore your home, where you lived and resided, was in Utah. It's not a home if you don't live there.
Honestly good space for him and fiance is probably all that's needed. That little "4 man" Coleman he's got on his wish list is puny, so a legit 3 man is probably plenty good enough. Budget depends on quality, I don't mind going cheap for a good deal and don't mind spending more if it's something...
Cliffs: Looking for recommendations on reasonable 4 man tent that's sorta lightweight (but not backpacking weight) with more than two poles and full rainfly.
So my son has a piece of garbage 4 man tent on his Amazon wish list for Christmas, probably trying to upgrade size from his current 2...
Correct, as far as I could tell. I was initially disappointed looking at just a hole through the lungs but the jelly between both shoulder blades was pretty extreme and the lungs looked to have been bruised extensively so there was clearly some shock that happened internally. I never found any...
I guess I can add a data point. Shot roughly 80 yards with factory 147 ELD-M from 6.5 CM, muzzle velocity averages 2544 out of the 18" barrel. Bullet center punched a dime sized hole through the middle of the lungs and exited with a half dollar sized hole in the off side skin. Lungs looked badly...
I like the Peloton 200 but the Strongfleece 260/280 would work if you're not hiking in it and putting it on later. I'm not a fan of the super down at all, sold the ones I bought, same for the Kenai jacket but I do like my Kenai vests. The jacket just fit me really awkwardly.
IMO it's not about how many people you run into out there. It's about the years and years of everyone shooting what they can reducing the overall population there. There's a good possibility you're not running into other hunters because there's no animals out there and the hunters have gone...
JMO but I think you're better off on public than potentially 5k people on 3k acres. There's probably very few animals after years of people shooting anything they can. But with two encounters last year and the one this year you're still finding ways to make it happen. I bet if you spent a little...
Some of those hunting clubs can be pretty shot up IME.
Come down to Texas, I'll put you on deer on highly pressured public land and you'll get shot opportunities. Compound or xbow is legal here where we hunt.

Dammit man I'm gonna have to resurrect my old Facebook account if it's not been deleted, which I doubt they'd ever do that. I'd imagine there's ways to install from sources other than the play store but I also don't want Russian spyware on my phone lol.
This is what I have to do. My finger tips crack on both sides of the nail all the way out to the tip, no amount of lotions will help once that happens and it starts happening freaking fast. Liquid bandaid stops it once it gets started and protects it as well as adds some firmness to keep it from...
