Thank you. I’ll think about it and let you know.
Looking for a heavy barreled rifle to have threaded for a suppressor.
Been thinking about moving down to 7mm but I have a hard time going away from 30 cal for elk.

Unit wide landowner tags in certain areas of New Mexico have increased from $600-800 a few years ago to as much as $1600 in 2023.
That’s DIY.
Plus the license fee from the state of about $500.
And I would pay that much if I didn’t have another elk hunting option for the year.

Interesting video. I wasn’t sure where they were headed with the story before they started promoting Bogle and Index funds.
They definitely didn’t talk about the employee/ investor risk involving pension funds when all of the employee’s and retiree’s risk was tied up in the company they worked...
Me as well.
I have a couple of good whetstones, ceramic sticks, and most recently bought the KME deluxe system.
I can use the KME but I definitely haven’t gotten the hang of it yet.

I’ve dealt with it off and on for a while. I run up to 1/2 marathon distance and don’t stretch my calves like I should.
Podiatrist recommended Powerstep 1/2 insoles in all my shoes which helped some.

Ran one of my 2 annual 1/2 marathons yesterday. Within 1 minute of last year’s time.
Helped that it was cold and I had just been on a cow elk hunt in NM last week so I had some altitude lung prep.
If you’re looking for alternatives to running, there is some good information from a...
That’s the worst part for me. 5:30 am in the summers here and the temps still over 80 with humidity on top of that.
I love running when its 40-50 degrees.

I started running after a friend moved into my neighborhood and talked me into it. That was in 2009 and I was 37. Up until that point I had never run more than a mile and a half that I can remember.
I worked up to 5k, then 10k, then ultimately 1/2 marathons. That is still the furthest distance...
I bought the course, have been through it, and continue to reference it.
It has been worth it to me.
I’ve had significant target panic for quite a while and when I really focus on the process he teaches it helps a lot.
A lot of my target panic came from recoil sensitivity after shooting...
The 4.7L has a timing belt. It’s the biggest downside to that Toyota motor vs. the newer 5.7L.
Recommended replacement every 90,000 miles.
I would plan on having it replaced on this vehicle if it hasn’t been done already due to the age.

Here’s a great resource if you’re serious about it.
And I would bet that vehicle- if it is in original, excellent condition- would sell for 3X that much on Bring-a-trailer.

I have a set of 6 Iron Will SB125 broadheads in carrying case.
I bought these in 2021. I shot one head (the one on the far right) into my foam target a few times and then put them all away.
I set up some new arrows with a left helical fletch, so these are no longer compatible and...
This is what I do as well. 4+ years and going strong. I bought 2 of the Brute Force bags with variable sized inner bags so I can combine them for different weights.
My go to ruck bag is 60 lbs and it straps to my pack easily using the Exo crib carrier.
