I'm not saying they had anything to do with the wolf initiative. What I am saying/asking is don't you want to hunt all around the West not just in your home state? Let's share what we have with others instead of limiting others.
Goodness if we don't change our attitudes, opinions and views we will all be hunting less. Why the NR hate? Any NR is welcome to my state, I would not even mind if we increased NR tags. This selfishness will lead to all of us losing hunting opportunities. We have got to get out of our own way...
We absolutely need to unite. I've never been big into social media but decided to try to reach non-hunters and hunters on Instagram. It may not make a big difference but I am trying to show the adventure, the scenery, the animals and the reasons why hunting is so important. It's not about kill...
I will not be leaving the road last thing I want to do is run them around especially on the unit that I hunt 😂. I'll just be glassing from the road.
I have seen quite a few bucks around northern Utah that are missing an antler.
Heartbreaking loss for my niners. Had our chances. We need to upgrade the right side of that offensive line big time. Purdy played well, the whole team played well. Just a few missed opportunities. I hope the players that are getting older on the team will get another shot and bring home a ring.
Headed down to Southern Utah where I usually hunt. What percent of deer do you think have shed at this point? I'm heading down on Wednesday. I'd like to see some bucks on the winter range but guessing about 50% have shed already.
I haven't read all the other posts but you have to be okay with failing and not caring if you punch your tag. Also the nobody cares keep hammering work harder or grind it out can become just too much nonsense. I have been on hard times that went long and some I didn't get deer on. You are better...
I would think you could get a really good unit wide voucher on a Colorado unit for 15k. You may have to go DIY depending on what you spend on the voucher. However, high success on 180+ is still a tall order. You could look to Nevada or CWMU'S in Utah. Once again, high success on 180+ is a tall...
I think you could have a good hunt in colorado. Sorry about your dad, at least he made it to his late sixties. My dad slowed down big time about late 50s, something I pray doesn't happen to me! That's why I love the over sixty hunters thread!
