    Yes that is exactly what I used it for. I'm not in rain much and it was the backup incase I did get a rain. It also worked really well when glassing to stop the wind on mild to hot days.

    So I was building some arrows tonight, fmj's with the hit inserts. I noticed that the IW bh ferrule was about 1/8th" shorter the the field tips.
