What are the four markings on the magazines that you did try? It turns out Winchester used quite a few different markings over the years. I found C, BR, BF, H, and K.

Thanks for the offer. Last night I was able to find this PDF with load data from Federal that has quite a few powders that I have on hand. I'll try some of these loads, and hopefully find something that works...
Has anyone worked up a load for the 160gr Trophy Bonded Tip bullet in a 280 Rem? I've got a new 280 coming, and I just picked up some of these bullets from Midway.

I bought a Kifaru LongHunter Hauler frame back in the mid 2000's. I just picked up a new Mountain Warrior pack, and I'm looking for advice from people that have used newer packs on the older frames. I understand that there is a kit that Kifaru will send you to convert the load lifters to work...

Federal does sell the Trophy Bonded Tip as components in 30 cal. In the larger 375, 416, 458 calibers you can find the regular Trophy Bonded bullets as components too.

This was taken last on the east side of the Flathead Valley about 85 yards from my house. This bear seems to do a good job avoiding humans. Every time I ever captured it on camera was at night or very early in the morning.
