    I bought this pair of boots for a moose hunt in Alaska, ended up wearing them one day then went to my rubber boots. They are in excellent condition with about 2 miles on them.. After the trip, I cleaned them and re-applied Crispi Asking $315 TYD. Let me know if you have any questions.

    If you can afford it, go for the best. I bought my swaros 10 years ago and don’t ever plan to buy another pair. I send them in every couple years for cleaning and inspection. I plan to buy a swaro spotter someday.

    Meindl boot

    I prefer the Meindl over the Crispi, let me re-phrase that....my feet do. The Crispi is an amazing boot right out of the box, I have a pair I wore for about two hrs, need to get them sold. The toe box is larger than the Meindl. I have slender feet so the Meindl works better for me.

    I think it depends on how easily you get cold. I wear Insulated anytime before 50. That’s just me, I don’t think there’s a golden rule for everyone.

    307, I tried to pm you, I don’t think I can pm since I’m new and post count is t high enough. I see that you hunted with Renfro’s. I’m thinking about booking with them for the 2022 season. What did you think of their operation? Would you use them again? Thank you sir

    How much insulation

    Thanks for the reply’s. I tend to get cold easy and want to make sure I’m prepared for this hunt. Anyone that has hunted Alaska have any advice? It sounds like most of the terrain will Be tundra.
