I used to fly/nymph fish the creeks in the NC mountains all the time. Probably catch more trout on fly/nymph than with red worms. Just my experience. BUT, I am more of a hook and cook than catch and release. In short, and this may piss the catch and release people off, but if I go flyfishing it...

Holy cow that was great!. I cheated with a crock pot and chicken breast. I put it over a bed of rice and it was DELICIOUS! I would like to find a way to make the juice thicker though, like at a chinese restaurant. thanks for the recipe!

I believe most US TOPO maps will list the declination at the bottom. I was stationed at Ft. Campbell, KY. We were told not to worry about the declination. And if you look at the above map I may have been around 1* W??
I like the Hardi type material. I used the overlapping style. I wished I went with the 4x8 (9) or (10) sheets and put a batten strip at the joint. A lot less maintenance. I do like the sound of steel though.
