Getting paid ! Construction industry.
This is so frustrating and in my opinion completely unethical. We try to avoid general contractors for this reason but many of the large corporations are doing the same in the manufacturing plants we work in - so its really hard to avoid all together. Do you take your clothes off to sleep on a backpack hunt?
I just sleep in my clothes regardless of season. In the summer I just leave my bag unzipped to regulate the temp. I’ll usually add a pair of thick socks in my pack for sleeping to keep my feet warm in the fall.- The_Jim

Public land Nebraska archery mule deer
Good chance you’ll see more whitetail than mule deer so don’t get stuck on the one species. It used to be the opposite, but the last 10 years have not been good to mule deer here. It’s not completely doom and gloom, guys do take nice deer off public every season. Just have realistic expectations. -

Kids Bow Recommendations

Nebraska hunting observations
@Sellers77 it can still be done on public and my post is probably more a reflection of my disappointment in our deer numbers. Whitetail are really be encroaching on the mule deer so even in the “mule deer units” you’re more likely to see whitetail on public.
