Thoughts are you’re upgrading to tier one glass. They’re discontinued but can be found used, they can also be purchased new under the Kahles name, same glass/bin different color skin.

I would personally go Leupold, for the weight advantage, the glass advantage(mainly due to fov where the nightforce is like looking through a small tunnel, and the low light advantage, that’s just me though. The fov alone makes the shv a no go for me. If all your worried about is dialing or if...
I’ll take seconds if it falls through, just pm me. Couldn’t send you a pm for some reason, wouldn’t give me the option. Again agree with the above poster, need to see pics, date, price in black or red ink and your user name by the scope.
All are top end in my experience, the vortex/seekins should save you a few bucks and are the same quality. There’s also spuhr, tier one, badger, contessa, mdt, element, Nf, and mark 4 rings to name a few. Also if you need levels, tier one, contessa, mdt, all come with integrated levels.
I’d personally look hard at the nx8’s, both are outstanding unless you end up with a bad sample. The 2.5x20 is actually my favorite NF scope with the 4-32 second, that includes any atcar. The apparent fov kills the atcar and nxs for me personally for the type of hunting I do.
Have all 3, but 2 are in 50’s, swaro 10x50el and Leica 10x50 hd plus. In the 50 and overall view the swaro is more transparent imo than the others, it’s imo the best 10x on the market and the reason I sold a 10x42 nl. In the 42 its a toss up but the sf Zeiss wins on fov by a bit. The swaro also...
New I’d look at the Steiner Predator 4, 750ish for the 6x24 or 4x16, 2nd probably a swaro z3 and Zeiss v4. The Zeiss is in the 6-800 range at redhawk, the z3’s can usually be found under 1000, sometimes well under. All will have good glass for hunting.
As for just a good cheap scope check out a...
EO definitely adds tax and shipping, I’m in a state that doesn’t require tax unless the company does 20% of its overall revenue in the state or said company owns a retailer in same state, yet I still pay tax/shipping. Great company with some awesome deals but expect to pay tax/shipping unless...
Love euro and CL both, but remember EU adds tax and shipping so it brings them up to the same as CL has them usually. CL is out the door prices, as is redhawk. All are top tier dealers, especially euro and CL.
As to hunting and for mostly terrestrial use it’s a non issue for me. Unless in high contrast situations, which is often for birding, it’s hard to see unless in maybe a snow covered landscape and a dark set of antlers. Still, unless your constantly looking at the sky’s it’s not really an issue...
Man just looking a cheaper hunting scope in the v4 vx5 range with a decent fov which is hard to come by. I’ve run about every scope made from USO, Schmidt, Leupold, Zeiss/Hensoldt, Swaro, NF, March, you name it, for a lot of years, a lot. I’m good on the upper end stuff, just curious about this...
Anyone have any experience with these. Glass and what not. Mainly curious as to how that stack up to the Zeiss v4/6 and Leupold vx5’s/6’s as glass goes. Not worried about dials or adjustment as long as they’re durable. Hard to find any reviews other than he said she said.
