This is such a good tip lol. I did a solo scouting trip for a week in colorado last August. Although i absolutely love the peace and quiet , eating my dehydrated meal at night for dinner with an old Gritty Bowmen podcast episode was nice to listen to and keep me motivated
Good tip lol. I run a lot too , i always say ya rucking would no doubt be the best thing but i cant help but also get my running in too. Sounds like u got a good setup as well
Great tip. I went and got bloodwork done like a month or so ago. I feel like it should become more of the norm. Especially for people trying to make a change and take their nutrition more serious. I can see myself just getting that done annually.
Bike is great too! I have yet to go that route but my old man loves his bike. All good stuff.
And yeah i used to talk smack on people who used trekking poles.. till I tried them.. lol

Gettin' back into a routine of spending some evenings hiking around with the pack loaded down. Even though its April , September will be here before we know it! I'm from PA and I am heading out to Idaho solo for high country mule deer this year. Hiking up hills loaded down and listening to an...

Love this tent. Light enough for early szn/summer backpack but also durable enough for later szn. 2nd season CO last year didnt think we would walk up to a foot of snow. Held up just fine
Havalon knife , extra blades (dont usually need but just in case i forget to replace the old dull one), 550 cord, game bags, old tarp is nice if i got it.
Been thinking I want to switch or at least bring as a back up a fixed bladed knife. Especially for out West. Havalon hasnt failed me yet but...
Similar to other guys. Lots of sititng and staring (which i guess helps glassing sessions lol). Only way to get good at a thing imo , is to do the thing. Hike hills with a heavy backpack is what i try n do outside of work. Cuz i know thats what ill be doing out West
