Alright just got back late last night from an Eastern Montana Mule Deer Hunt. Temperatures throughout the week averaged from low 20's in the mornings to 50's throughout the day, and of course it's the eastern plains/hills of Montana so there was 10-15 mph winds everyday as well.
I will start...
I somewhat doubt that, Kelce might be done after this year and that will be huge for their team, and change the dynamic completely, and How many years does Andy Reid have left? I can see him getting one maybe two more, but I doubt he catches Brady
Generally, speaking from previous predator hunting experience and pigs, green lights do not scare deer. I have never used that light you speak of though, just saying in general green light does not spook them
wow i Didn't even see the baby in the carrier first time i looked at picture, i just knew it looked "off" for some reason, lol but now that you say that i see it clear as day! crazy!
Well in our defense, we cant really walk all zigg zaggedy over the mountains out here, the leaves make to much noise for all that lol. Don't get me wrong, wish I could "walk with the wind" as it would be alot of fun to hunt that way vs sitting in one spot lol. When we get rain, you can...
I would wear latex gloves if your that concerned about it, be on the lookout for paper cuts they can be nasty, I wouldn't fold it as it would degrade the tag. Possibly laminate it to protect it although if you have to eat tag soup later, the plastic probably wont be good for ya.
Well just playing devils advocate here, but if they truly are NEW to the game like you say, one would think they would have plenty of questions to ask if they are just getting started? an engaging post could be just that, someone asking "What caliber for mule deer?" "What ammo for elk?" etc...
I am a huge proponent of taking your kids for small game where they can get "plenty of action" on their first hunts etc. The quickest way to make a kid hate hunting is to take them whitetail deer hunting, where they have to sit all day and be super quiet and super still and may not see a darn...
Yes, they only offer two sizes specifically, Medium/Large and Large/Xlarge, i received a L/XL and they fit me fine, probably room for a glove liner to wear under them as well, they are mittens so they are spacious. Unless you have very large hands I think the L/XL would fit 90% of roklsiders
I just bought my kids this pack at Dunham's sporting goods for 24 bucks on sale

Obviously not designed to carry heavy meatloads etc. but they can throw their bino's, knife, snacks, water, headlamp, and such in it, and might still have some room to put...
