Wow, how this this morph into a trans conversation? Anyways…..
After hearing todays press conference, in combination to my experience, I can confidently say a lot of cops screwed up big time! Absolutely disgusting what happened.
-10 minutes after the truck crash and no police response...
Training across the country changed after Columbine. It would have to be a pretty inept department to not be up to date with direct to threat training. Now, we don’t know all the facts, but one scenario that might change response is a hostage situation without active shooting. Might…. Like I...
Since you’re an expert, what do you suggest Buzz?
Why do you always need to be a knob, especially on a topic you are not trained in. Or is active shooter response part of your biology degree?
Was that Penn State where every person in the class sat/stood in line and waited to be executed? I...
The school board would be where I’d start. Our schools receive active shooter training, both teachers and students. The Police several times a year place strangers in the school to see how long it takes staff to address and report them. All rooms have locks inside to secure students inside the...
The Police in my neck of the woods are trained to go direct to threat. I wasn’t there obviously, but it makes the sick thinking of kids bleeding to death waiting to be rescued. I’ll reserve ultimate judgement for when I hear what actually happened.
I can’t even imagine the emotional trauma...
That’s my point, is the backlog an issue with quality control or are they truly out of stock. I never had issues with my other SWFA’s, just the 2021 model. Up until this year I haven’t heard of people complaining about swfa scope failures.
Would I be off in suggesting more than 3 choices in the initial draw for residents? Why a second draw with 3 more chances? Just give residents 6 chances in the first draw.
Or, why not a 4 th choice like NM, where you agree to take any leftover tag….
You’re telling me people would burn a point or two or three for a 2nd choice region f or x deer tag? Come on man! Not to me to mention a lope tag in a unit with minimal public land. Not gunna happen.
The 6x was on a .50 cal muzzy. It abruptly stopped tracking correctly when dialed. With a 100 yard zero, dialing at 200 the scope would be off by about 10-11”. All screws were checked to confirm they were torqued properly. I could then re-zero at 100 and it would hold tight groups. Then...
I had a 2021 model fixed 6x take a dump on an elk hunt last fall. It was returned to be exchanged in October and I still have not received a replacement. Every time I contact them, they have no timeframe on when scopes will be in stock. What’s the deal?
Is this a supply chain issue, or did...
Or……. Maybe some members stop being jags and converse like normal humans. Stop with the arguing just to argue. These conversations would be a lot more civil if one or two very specific people were gone. Pretty much any opinion not aligning with a few select wy residents gets responded to with...
I’ve made friends with a rancher who owns a medium sized ranch with two chunks of land locked state land. He allowed me and a hunting partner to hunt lopes free of charge several times. There are some great ranchers that still allow access.
Nope, he’s new, but spot on. It’s an impressive read of personality from a single post. Buzz is one of many people I was referring to.
Furthermore, I have no idea who that guy is, but he’s simply stating a fact. He isn’t defending the ranches, just stating that their value will decrease if...
Why is it that some of the Wy residents on this site always have to be type a, alpha jack wagons? Man it gets old. Constantly raging on dudes for typing their opinions….
A lot of these ranches are indeed marketed for total acres, including the public landlocked or checker boarded within...
