You really need to analyze the draw odds for the unit in question. It typically saves you one point. Sometimes the draw odds are less with special because people automatically think it is higher odds and more people put into the special. It will also get you some tags with zero points or on...
Yukon for me no doubt. Having said that I’ll always have two. I want a lightweight for backcountry hunts where I don’t really expect rain.

I am not offended at all. I think you are one of few on this site that can actually attest to the ability for rain gear to not wet out(assumption on my part due to your hunting location). I can only go so far on a rain gear review as I have never spent more than a few days in pouring rain at a...
I find the fit to be identical. I wear large. It fits the same as the Sitka. I find both the Sitka and Kuiu to fit smaller than First Lite. I had to down size in everything FL.
I made zero mention of performance so I could not be more confused about your statement. I typed what the intent of the garments was, nothing more, nothing less.
If the OP tells us his hunting style, areas, and precipitation expectations we could recommend one but I would say most likely he...
The Chugach is for high activity hunts where it may rain occasionally. The Kutana is for hunts where you need the extra protection and durability, will not be as active, and don't want the extra weight of the Yukon. The Yukon is intended for those who practically live in the rain and are active...
The kutana is meant to bridge the gap between the chugach and the Yukon. It will be heavier duty than the chugach but weigh less than the Yukon. The chugach will breath better.

Every single cartridge suitable for killing elk quickly at 800-1000 yards will have barrel life around 800-1000 rounds and none will have an appreciable advantage in that department over the other. You are not going to notice any difference until you step up to something like a RUM. You would...
I have yet to see a SAAMI chamber that did not like the Berger factory 215 ammo which is awesome for game. Obviously there is no guarantee it will shoot in the rifle you go with but odds are good.
Budget?
It has very little extra case capacity over the 30 Nosler ADG brass. It does have Lapua brass but they typically do not feed as nice as smaller cartridges such as the Nosler. I personally would stay with the Nosler but I would guess you would be happy with either. I would stay with...
If you are not going to reload the odds of finding a suitable ammo are much higher with the 300 WM(although many of the options I personally would not shoot long range). My 300 PRC hates factory ammo. I hate the factory options for 30 Nosler. For reloading everyone will have an opinion but mine...
It seems as if the 300 Berger accuracy node will be within 50 FPS of each other with the edge being faster and/or lower pressure. To seat correctly both will need single fed. Adg and Bertram both make brass for the edge. I don’t see any downfall.

This is in the long range forum. Performance rules. The efficiency argument really has no bounds. We could say the same about the 338 WM, then a 338 WSM, then... Typically the smaller the case the more efficient. If we were talking about shooting 200 yards I would say who cares pick one and go...
