I think the idea of the Stone Glacier Sky Air is it being so light and compact it could be used in situations where you didn’t actually have a basecamp or spike camp and just carry everything on your back and camp where you end the hunt day. That way say you find a sheep or goat pretty far away...
Caylen Wojcik a good friend of the Stone Glacier guys and a former military sniper did a really good review of it on his Instagram page. It’s on IGTV on his page. He really liked it.

Thanks for the advice. There is definitely a mental advantage when wearing the right stuff. You have to have skills too and that is more important but if you bring you skills and combine that with the right gear success levels do come up. At least it seems that way.
Wow it does blend in good! My only experience with it was from shopping online and seeing against a white background but it from these pics I can see it looks and works great in a real situation. Pardon my ignorant comment earlier.
Do you guys also go with mountaineering brands for tents over brands like KUIU and Stone Glacier? When I went onto the REI website to look at some of these clothes you mentioned they seemed to have a lot of tents on sale as well.
I know the Avail 2200 is listed as a daypack but with adding an external spotting scope pocket to one side would it have enough space for lightweight backpack hunting? Obviously I’m never gonna attempt packing out elk size game with something this size but it seems to be so space efficient from...
