If you're actually looking for light weight, ditch the idea of carbon and run a smaller-profile steel barrel. Carbon simply can't hang from a weight perspective.
If you simply want carbon (and I get it), then proof or Benchmark. I'd probably look at Benchmark based on past experience and weight...
Had a 105 Berger VLD grenade on the shoulder of an antelope doe a few years ago, shot from a 6XC at about 150 yards. Wasn't too happy with that performance.
No mounting plate needed. Cut their pad off as close to the stock as possible. Sand the stock flat and glue the microcell to the stock the same as they do with the deceleration. The microcell has a hard plastic "plate" on it, but it doesn't show up until the pad is ground.

If you are after a lightweight hunting barrel, the problem with most prefits is they leave a long cylinder before they start the tapering. This can affect the weight and balance quite a lot.
Proof used to make steel prefits that matched a lite contour but stopped making them.

Have a heat gun? Careful application of heat will allow you to peel the bedding off of the lug without grinding it and risking damage to the lug. For the rest, dremel it away and try again. It looks bad, but I've certainly corrected worse.
