How is layering under the koldo jacket? I just got the Koldo pants in large and am returning because I need an XL to be able to layer underneath. They are VERY true to size. Is the jacket the same?
FWIW I use a Diamond Archery Infinite Edge. It’s older. But really adjustable and plan on passing it down to my kids. It’s a smaller bow tho. IMO they are great entry bows and reasonably priced.
Preface: I’m not saying don’t buy Sitka. Do it. It’s great stuff.
But I have to ask when someone says “I’m looking to buy Sitka”. Why? Great name recognition for sure. But the real question you should be asking is what works for my hunting environment. There are quite a few quality brands...
This looks amazing!
Used to snowboard all the time before my kiddos. Now it’s taking the kids out as much as I can to play and sled in the snow and blowing out my driveway hah.
10 years. (Same place since college, technically) I’ve had a bit of a strange career. Started at a small firm (less than 50 people) as an electrical engineer. Got my MBA and worked my way up to the director of finance and admin. Small share holder. Then we sold the firm to a large National...
To clarify this. My understanding is they have certain lines that are USA made. Patagonia for sure has lines made in China. I am not familiar with the other mentioned. Will be interesting to see where Sitka take their Arrowhead line.
This makes sense. I have some UA cold gear I got on sale and some Scheels brand merino wool on sale as well.
For the past 6 years I basically only layered the UA stuff with sweat pants, sweat shirts and other layers and topped it with cheap Walmart Jacket and pants for camo. I was able to layer...
I’ll throw out Kryptek. Quality gear at a decent price and they have some sales going on right now. And just came out with a few bundle packages. The Vellus bundle might be a little too warm tho. Personally like the highlander pattern. If you sign up for their mailing list they are having a 20%...
I don’t know if this counts but our kids (2 and 3) are well aware of what hunting is and we even let our 3 year old (he’s more interested) “help” process the deer. Give him some latex gloves and a plastic knife and a small chunk to cut. He has a bolt action nerf rifle and a stuffed deer he...
Trying not to create new threads as I search for info so hopefully resurrecting this is alright.
Anyone know when Kryptek usually adds new items or releases improvements? Is it throughout the hear? Or are there common times?
I’m looking at the takur line, will they add other camo patterns to...
Hey all, new here. Live in Minnesota. Been hunting for about 6 years. Mostly white tail. Have done turkey. Found this place while researching hunting gear for a goose trip my buddy and I are planning. Found and landed on Kryptek thanks to this forum! Excited to learn from all of you.
