    Stone Glacier or Exo

I have used both packs extensively for work carrying around rifles and heavy gear. As others have mentioned you cannot go wrong with either. However I find myself leaning towards the exo pack both at work and in hunting. Its comfort level and ability to make heavy loads feel lighter are second...

    Kowa Spotting Scopes

Like many people I was in the market for a good spotting scope. Disclaimer, I am a military sniper and am not new to great glass, but I am limited in the choices I have available to me. I also do not have a local store that I can go look at different brands of glass. I have a Kowa 883 at work...

    Swarovski el 10x42

Unless you have unlimited budget the EL 8.5 are my pick. Amazing glass that is barely different than the NL. If you have the funds and you don’t ever want to question you have the best glass then by all means buy the NL.

    Best backpack with rifle scabbard

I’ve tried some Eberlestock packs with the scabbard and they don’t hold a candle to other packs like exo or stone glacier. Yes those brands don’t have a scabbard but for the pack comfortability and overall quality it’s worth it to just use the rifle sling offered by exo instead of a scabbard...

    Vortex LHT 3-15x42 vs 3-15x50

50mm objective lens would be my vote. More light and not that much more weight. Better optical performance for not much of a downside.

    Dry Bag Size

Watershed or sea to summit have good dry bags. Size depends on how big your sleep system.
