Am I looking for a unicorn?

I would thinks it is plenty doable. Just find an outfit that can maybe make a deal on a trophy fee type basis- no 300” you don’t pay for the elk? If they don’t think it’s possible they won’t take you. I guess times may have changed but where I have hunted in Colorado LO and Utah draw 300” was...

    Unit 17B Brown Bear

Alaska just did a big aerial depredation cull in that gmu. They killed 94 brown bears. Hopefully it wasn’t in the area you will hunt? Brown bears with a bow can be tough! Not sure I could pass on a legal bear with a bow to hold out for something bigger… good luck should be an adventure either...

Anti-hunting Hunters - Article by Fred Eichler

It was ridiculous how the CO spring bear hunt and baiting was banned, with support of so-called hunters voting in support. That's a good name for them- anti-hunting hunters.

    Delta junction Alaska

Depends on what you want. If you want to kill a bear and see plenty of them I would say no. Go to Canada on a baited hunt with a proven outfit and you will see lots and lots of bears. Bowhunt for the added challenge. I have seen hunts for $2-5K depending where and what is offered. You may be...

    Utah 2024 Draw Thread

Easy Answer as to why there are so few Non-Resident tags in Utah, despite allocating 10% to NR- Hunt Expo and Auction Tags!! $FW figured out that they can "steal" the NR tags and sell them for more $ and not piss off the Residents to vote them out of the money grab! All those tags come...
