No insight in hold up. But I’ve made several dozen for friends standard RIP with HIT inserts and podium TI collars. Great results so far.

    EXO k4 or Stone Glacier?

I’ve used both and exo gets the win here. Still own the EXO and a kifaru. For me you don’t know how comfortable a pack is until 100+ lbs. a lot of packs feel similar at 50. So when trying I’d load them heavy as you can personally.

    Garmin Fenix

Fenix 6 pro solar. Yes the 7 gets 28 days with solar. Mine is 21-23 days. Wife has 5 sapphire no solar

    Garmin Fenix

Solar is worth it IMO. I charge my watch every 20 days or so. The 7 has even better battery life. My wife has a 5 no solar and she’s charging hers every 4 days.

Don’t need any of the above for construction management. Field experience is key. I have a bachelors and masters in business. No matter where you start will have to work your way up with experience.

2nd this. Been a project manager in commercial construction for over a decade now. Unlimited PTO does not work out well. Also plan to always be working if you have cell phone service. I also drive 60k+ miles a year between all my jobs. Even if you are off the problems don’t stop because the job...

    Help me update my setup

Big fan of hamskea rests. A trophy taker sight would likely fit the budget and be basic yet reliable.

    Arrow deals?

You are asking about GT but I’ve seen good prices on shafts from scheels on their website for RIP TKOs. Have to check their other offerings and compare for GT prices.

    Favorite Healthy Recipes

Key here is to mix up seasonings you use. Meat church has good ones, traeger, rec tec, and Adkins to name a few. Protein and vegetables/potatoes/rice. Biggest thing to mix ups is in seasoning and how you cook (bake, grill, pan fry, smoke, etc). #1 is always prioritize protein. Sometimes I’ll...

Stabilizers on bow in the Backcountry

I use a 15/12 with 6oz/3oz. No issues packing it around. One issue for me was packing a 35” ATA bow one year where string caught a limb going under a tree and derailed the bow. I leave a synum bow press at the truck now for that and find a 33” ATA bow works better for me.

    What lighter arrow for hunting?

Victory RIP or RIP TKO with hit insert and TI podium or IW collar. Most durable setup and can build as light or heavy as you want.
