Life was so much simpler when I went and re-"zeroed" my rifle, duplex reticle, that hadn't been touched for a year one week before the season opened. 200 yard zero, held 6" over for 300 and top of an elks back at 400. I figured you had to be a military trained sniper to kill beyond 500...
I spoke with Holly yesterday, very nice and helpful lady. She told me they were working on filling orders for early December (not sure what that meant) and that I was going to be 4 weeks or so behind (I ordered on 22 Dec). I'm just hoping to have received 2 new suppressors in less time that a...
x2 on the Seekins. TBH if I had bought my first Tikka before getting my Seekins I'm not sure I would've bought the Seekins. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about my PH2, but I now own a couple Tikkas and consistency across platforms would be nice.
For almost double what the OP stated his budget was, I'd pass. Sounds like your fortunate not to have to use Springfield's CS. Glad they worked for you.
I tried working up to a max load in my 223 with 77 TMK and XBR8208 with 400's. Pierced the last primer in my loaded test rounds. Switched primers to either Rem 7.5's or 450's, can't remember, and all the primers look fine. I have a near book max load with the 73 eld-m, CFE223, and 400's...
Not sure on machining a .243 die, I just bought a Redding FL sizing die. I only have 1 firing on my brass so far and I have a Lee collet die to resize the neck so I haven't the brass through the Redding die yet.
I did it too a couple years ago. I think there were 25 people and 4 of us qualified. I wasn’t shooting guys much at the time and assumed that anyone that would show up and shoot in front of a bunch of other people would at least have a clue what they were doing. I was wrong.
I think I figured it out, but now another question. I’m obviously missing the magazine retention spring, but what’s up with this trigger? Is this a factory 2 stage Tikka trigger or something else?
I just picked up a used Super Varmint and the mag is very loose in the mag well. Without applying pressure to the bottom of the mag the bolt just slides right over the top of the round. It’s the same with a new Waters 2.6 mag as well. Any suggestions?
Back when I was in college I was on a pretty dumb diet that had me in a significant caloric deficit. However, with my old friend Animal Stack (iykyk) I was able to get pretty jacked.
