This is cool. How are you determining if a shift comes from the scope vs the rings vs the stock/action? In the end for a hunter it doesn’t really matter I guess because shift is shift. Just seems like a tough thing to nail down?
How is the neck/face area when its zipped all the way up? I have 2 other jackets from SG and find their necks to be really tight to the point where I never zip them up all the way.
Leica for sure on glass quality. That being said all of them are going to be worse than a standard monocular due to the notch filter required for the display. You will see color shifts (usually to the blue) in all of the LRFs that have red LED displays.
This works with the kilo3000bdx. You will need to use the phone compass because the left doesn’t have one. You do not need cell service for this feature to work.
Hahaha I read your first two sentences and was getting ready to rip the crap out of you (mentally... I dont usually post negative stuff like that on forums). Round one to you sir!

Very versatile pack. This is the tactical version that is a little more durable than the hunting version. Comes with an integrated scabbard. This pack can transform from 2900 cubic inches for daypack use to 4900 for a couple night stay. I also have the spike camp duffel that expands the...
This is going to sound like a hack job but duct tape works great. I have used it on ski gear gear that has been ripped up bushwacking in the backcountry. Just tape it from the inside and it is good to go. It doesnt breath but for most patch jobs its not an issue. Also if you take a little...
StrutNut- I wasnt trying to pick on you with that comment so sorry if you felt that way. My comment should have been that if you are worried about consistent subtensions of your reticle throughout your power range then go for it. If you are not worried about that then you are spending money...
Are you hoping to use your reticle for ranging purposes or ballistic drops? If you are then FFP is pretty useful (read idiot proof). If you are looking to use the reticle for those purposes a SFP reticle will still work but only on a single power (unless you are crazy good at math)...
I dont have a photo of it but from the looks of it you could definitely fit two quarters on the load panel. You could probably fit a whole deer if you boned it out.
Received my Serac last week. I havent been able to get out and use it yet but it appears to be just what I was looking for. Quick access pack for on the way into camp then a good size for a day pack while hunting out of camp.
I used to use a badlands monster hip pack for similar situations...
Did you set your scope height in your ballistics program? Also have you shot it again at 100 and made sure there wasn't a zero shift? It's interesting that the spread is close to equal. Not sure you would see that in an error in atmospheric or chrono errors. Just some ideas. Good luck with...
