I fished it this weekend. First time. We did good Saturday, especially for never having fished the river. Sunday was different, we couldn't buy a bite. They say the fishing changes with every tide and they are correct, lol.
I know exactly what you mean and the swooshing is minimal. I would absolutely bow hunt in them. I don't think you are sneaking in on a bedded mule deer at 20 yards on a quite day, but I think a guy could get it done in them. I have killed bucks with my bow wearing the Prana Zion and theses are...
Much quieter than the Foundry. Different pocket layout. the Foundry has re-inforced stitching in the knees and butt where the 308 are more a straigh forward pant. I would wear the 308 to dinner, the Foundry's not so much. Both have their place but if I am picking one its the 308.
They are pretty quite. I am not going to say silent, though. Its not like any material I have seen that is out there right now. They are less noisy than the Prana Zion and Kuiu Attack
I would offer an audio recording but I think phone microphones makes everything sound louder than they are.

New to Firstlite this year are the 308 pants. I got a pair a couple of weeks ago and have been wearing them around the house and recently got them out on the ocean for a couple days of Salmon fishing. I have been wearing the Prana...
This is awesome. I have a 28miler planned for this summer in the Cascades in WA. It was supposed to be this weekend but there is still feet of snow at my end point so I am pushing it off until August. I have done the real Death Hike twice and they are no joke. Its pretty cool to see what you're...
I just bought a new bow for the first time since 2012. I have had a Bowtech Experience all these years and it has been great. I shot it well and just kept replacing the strings ever other year
IMO, that would be very challenging, but doable. I think that is challenging with anything other than skin tight merino or a short sleeve! The material that is on the inside of the sleeves is what I think is going to prevent this piece from being "dead quite". I wouldn't hesitate at 40 yards though.
