I leave the window open on the front of the canopy. The one next to the cab. This seems to create some positive pressure in the canopy and keeps most of the dust out. If I close it my canopy is full of dust in a mile. Ive also left a side window vented which works but not quite as good.
My Dream hammock with bug net, tarp, stakes and straps comes in at 47.5 oz with no quilts. With my 20 degree under quilt and top quilt its 106 oz. total. With my set of 40 degree quilts its 87 oz. total. I could cut about 10 oz. off if I went with a dyneema tarp, and another 5 oz. with no bug...
We use them. It's fun to see whats around. I like putting them on wallows. I have had 2 stolen in the last 10 yers. One was in a box and locked to the tree. I quit using straps or cables and now use screw in mounts. Place them in odd spots and brush them in.

Ive been using an alps escalade cot and an alps 4" comfort series self inflating pad for probably 6 years. Vey comfy. You can store totes under the cot and save some space.
I agree. I would add to make sure it is an 11' hammock. Much more comfortable than the shorter 10 or 9' ones.
That way you will figure out what you like and if you want to pursue it any further. My first one was an 11' double wide from Amazon for $35. Its a comfortable hammock and I can keep it...

It looks like your camera has 55mm filter threads. You could get a 55mm to 58mm step up ring and then get a Novagrade adapter. Try just holding it up to the eyepiece. Usually with camcorders you need to zoom in just about all the way to get rid of vignetting. That might be more magnification...
