I would stick with the wide size. I have had many pairs of Danners over the last 20 years of work and I’ve found that Danner boots definitely tend to run a bit narrow compared to other brands!

You never did tell us what state you reside in.
Depends on the tree and the lay of the land. I always use atleast 4 sticks but usually try using 5 if possible. All depends on the kind of tree I’m in and if I’m hunting a hill or flat ground.
If I’m using my climber I typically get as high as possible while being safe!
Put boots on the ground and walk till you find good sign. Get away from other hunters. Play the wind and try to locate good used trails and bedding areas. Might not be a bad idea to find water and a good stand of acorn trees. Definitely E Scout the area before you go and most importantly have fun!
