As the title states I’ve never used this mag i got the gun as a gift to build off of. I won’t use this mag and have what I need this is a factory mag from a 300 win. 28 bucks shipped. Pay pal f&f or if it’s a check I’ll ship the mag when I get the check.
Just bought the wife a semi custom 28 shoots 143 hammers at 3600 and stupid accurate it also shoots 180 Berger’s really well haven’t cronoed it yet. She has the 26 and 28. You had a great year and a testament to what it’s about working your butt off to kill mature deer.
Just remember if you carry a 6.5 needmoor and Berger anything animals just die as soon as you get out of the truck no need to attempt to make a good shot. Any other bullet sucks.
easier to find better service and a more consistent product. That was the last rifle I had to switch and I got it done but it was two weeks before her hunt and she didn’t wanna switch. Long story short Barens told me to shove it on a different issue I had with their bullets so i changed all 18...
Here is my wife’s first mule deer buck. Should she passed a few bucks along the way including letting her dad and brother get some smaller bucks out of her way. She shoots a 26 nosler. With the last batch of Barnes 127lrx before she switches over to the hammer she shot him at 139 yards. I’ve...
I have the 6.5-300 and 257 bee. Both get shot buddy has all three he only shoots the 6.5-300. White tails Miley, elk and antelope. I’ve been impressed with the 6.5-300. On rokslide you have to remember the only rifle you need is a tikka in 30-06 or a 6.5 man bun for optics you have two choices...
I didn’t know it was possible to kill animals with anything other than a 6.5 creed and an swfa or nightforce scope. Congrats on a killer buck and a bad to the bone caliber!
My wife is running nosler brass in hers I’m on the 4th firing and it seems to be ok. I run perterson in the 28 that I have. Had Hornady worst batch of Hornady brass I’ve ever used. Adg would be one to check out as well. Hope this helps.
I believe trail ridge road is closed due to fire but not sure as to where at. Those are great places. The elk in rmnp are fired up and sparing from what I hear. Enjoy your trip!
