@Elkmagnet do they all have that insert weld on them? I run ethics inserts so I would need to be able to get the others out, but would definitely buy a few off your hands
@Kwandog , I had this same issue when switching over to thumb. I was really leaning into my shot, and with some guidance at my local bow shop they had me stand a little taller and keep my head up. Actually lengthened my draw at the end of the day.
I think practice will continue to improve...
Ok, thats what I am going with. The bag seems to be pretty legit, but with no bottom insulation, the pad must be solid. Looked at Klymit, Thermo but feel like matching it up with the Big Agnes is the way to go. Thanks for the heads up!
Have you tried the Big Agnes Rapide SL? I'm leaning toward that for a late Sep archery hunt this season, but curious in how the Zoom would hold up 20-30 degree temps. Im running the Big Agnes Anvil Horn 0, I dont like to be cold.

Used on 2 hunts out west, 10 days of hunting, less than 40 miles on the tread. Tons of life left, they were just a hair small for me. Message for additional questions / pictures. $120 tyd +fees or best offer.
I ran 2 laps at Memorial Park on Saturday morning... was totally drenched. luckily running keep the skeeters off, but the heat is unavoidable. I'll start rucking evenings in July / August...
Super jealous of Alaska Sheep, im just prepping for elk
Really appreciate the quick feedback from all. Agree buy USA as much as possible, great to hear about the carbon vs aluminum pros & cons. Definitely helping me narrow down my search.
Why would I buy premium Trekking Poles over say a Carbon Fiber option via Amazon? I'm going on my 3rd elk hunt this season, I lost a cheap pole on my last trip, looking to buy new but just not sure the main difference in the poles? All I would use for is rough terrain / pack out.
