    First Western Rifle

Yeah, and as tech keeps getting better (bullets, powder, etc... ) I think the trend downward in caliber selection will continue to be come more attractive and popular.

    Do I Need Nicer Glass?

No, you have to look at it as a whole and find the best balance/tradeoff. That said, for a pair you are hand holding I really think you'll benefit from more FOV in this use case. The HG has very good clarity for the price.

    Do I Need Nicer Glass?

I'll go against the grain and not recommend those. While the clarity is great, their FOV is small at like 260' Used Nikon Monarch HG can be found for $600ish in 10x42 is like 360'

    Snacks

The best thing you can do is track your macros, even if only for a week. It'll seriously change your life and your understanding of food forever. Seriously. Also, its somewhat easy to go too extreme. Sugar/Simple carbs and sodium do play a role in nutrition and hydration so some people go...

    Do I Need Nicer Glass?

How is your budget? If you can afford a $2,000 scope I think better binos are well worth the investment. However, its certainly not needed.

Nothing has more "energy" than fat. 9cals per gram is more than twice that of protein or carbs.

IPhone 15 or In reach ....

Until reliability is proven, I am keeping my Mini on the cheapest service plan. I'll have that in addition to my iphone 14. Used Garmin mini's can be found quite cheap now.

The .284 is probably the most universally accepted "do it all" western caliber. This forum will steer you towards the .22 and .243.

Emergency Chain saw for the pickup

Reminds me of the first time I rode in a Tesla. We went deer hunting funny enough. I knew they were fast but that stupid thing will break your neck if you're not ready. What really impressed me though was the AC. Walking back it was already 80*+, the guy hit a button when we were 200 yards from...

Emergency Chain saw for the pickup

Yeah, I used to hate on electric. I am now a big fan. They work well and are incredibly handy as long as you you have realistic expectations.

    A health revolution brewing?

Yeah, incentivizing proper behavior is powerful. When I setup 401K plans, if we auto-enroll people participation is over 90%. If we leave people to enroll on their own its closer 50%. That said (I do group health as well) and I remember a lady complaining to me that all her doctor could do for...

    A health revolution brewing?

Yup, even water is "poisonous" when consumed at too high of amounts. It kills people every year.

Yeah, I would be careful with Paul. This is 1 of many examples.

    A health revolution brewing?

Considering the plague starvation has been on society and continues to be to this day, us *solving* for that is a huge accomplishment. To this day there are people still starving to death. That said, "we" are a mirror of those companies/politicians we criticize. Please remember alcohol sales...
