I found it funny someone was complaining about folks “timing” purchases to see if seller would lower price.
Folks do some strange stuff when money is involved.
I liked the concept of this being like a yard sale vs a place to make money. Too many folks trying to make money selling used stuff...
Back in my formative years (70's) we had long actions and short actions.
The language change from "action" to "chambering" would get a huh? from me too. Why they had to change the label isn't my concern.
Won't be any more of a shortage than there already is. Buy what you think you need, then just sit back and not worry.
Winchester has promised prices would go up next year. So get ready for that.
Get a better motorized pull thru sharpener - mine is just a chef's choice and it makes surgical sharp stuff. I then carry a pull thru carbide from Walmart (they yellow ones) is needed for an extended period at the fillet table, butchering a cow, or processing the 4th or 5th deer.
Part of it...
That's just the new generation with about anything.
I like the days of cut off sweatpants and a loose fitting sweatshirt, for working out. All these leotard things on guys are
There might be a unit or two with leftover tags in WY due to the difficulty in hunting them. Everything else will be 2-3 points for a huntable unit and 10+ points for a good unit.
You can figure out the low demand units in 5 minutes on the F&G website. Then see if you can find a landowner...
I like that black drum - the tarpon is king but that drum gave you a good pull on a buggy whip. They fight good and taste nice too.
We went out 2 weeks ago and caught a few fish w dad Photos were cropped... ARS were 20# and 14#ish. Tripletail was 23 inches - pretty neat fish.
A diamond hone is an option - couple swipes and yer good if touching up.
Also good for touching up is those little carbide pull thru's they sell at Walmart for about $6-$8. I have an electric diamond chef's sharpener thingy and it does nice with 3 swipes each side on coarse and 1 on fine...
Ladder or climber or shooting house for me.
I have had climbing sticks shift on me and that’s not a fun feeling. Dont like stepping off the sticks on to a lockon. So i sold my sticks and stand and got a summit climber - feel secure in it.
The game has rules. Some folks master the game, others fuss about the game.
Some players fuss with the rules as you well know w children who always want to change the rules to benefit themselves. If we’d all just know and play by the rules…
Access, preference points, hunt draws, season...
All we have these days are folks who don't like something and want it banned - i call em whiners. Trail cams, E-bikes, UTV/ATV, Horses, etc.
Everyone wants an advantage and wants to keep other folks from having an advantage too.
