A centerfire rifle that loads its smokeless modern powder through the muzzle instead of preassembled in a brass cartridge. Some states allow such a configuration, some don't.
I have a 24” wsm that is threaded and tame with a good side port brake on it, with an AB raptor 8 it’s quite long but recoil is reasonable. It definitely wants to move more with the can (which has no brake) on it but it’s not unpleasant to shoot.
The prop 127 sign is the first sign I've ever put into my yard. I merely hope it inspires some voters to educate themselves on the proposition, I have no delusion it will change the vote of someone that has already educated themselves and formed an opinion...
I got a pair of 10.5 and 11 Camino's delivered to see which fits my son best, the 11s do. I'm planning on returning the 10.5s but figured I'd mention here first in case anyone wants them instead.
I don't intend to loose money versus just returning them, I'd be looking for $142 (what I paid...
Yes foam in the lid as you've already figured out is the trick with ammo boxes.
I came into the thread thinking this was about 50rnd ammo boxes and I was gonna say I like the berrys better than the MTM (straighter walls and they store better in my opinion)
For what its worth I don't do fancy...
Its an alternative way of doing it but doesn't stack tolerances in the threads, the threads on the barrel are 5/8-24. The "adapter" is a threaded on piece that only forms the shoulder at the rear and is locktite/rokset into place and machined perpendicular to the bore.
I've seen reports that the new tipped hammers are a bit more violent in terms of upset, they have a larger hollow point behind the tip. I'm interested in giving those a try for a mono option in the future.
They're never going to act like an ELDM though imho.
FYI, sierra trading has some lowa discounted also including the black/orange camino for $130. I just ordered a pair for my son to try.

Hard to agree with you when you're fabricating things. Again if a video was intended as clickbait, versus posted up to address the comments from folks here about the hunt, it would have been edited/produced/hyped up/etc. to actually be click bait.
Its not group think to point out you're...
Was chatting with a non-hunter parent at a school event the other day whom I had mentioned this to previously and they said they heard something on NPR about it and said the piece wasn't in favor of the initiative. I haven't tracked it down but good to hear if true.
Lets take a step back, if someone was testing a bullet on a large animal and shot a cattle cow/bull to validate what happened would folks mix in all their feelings about how majestic (or not) the animal was, would they comment if there was a ranch truck in the vicinity, etc? Did Ryan pretend...
I didn't take it that way. Unless you're saying he's a liar, he said he only posted it because folks were calling bullshit on it. Off the get go he posted minimal photos and necropsy details to validate it happened but had an awareness a giraffi is a touchy subject. Folks didn't believe him so...
What is "this"? An animal was shot and died <60sec which is a data point in validation a caliber some have questions about. What exactly is lame af about it?
I get it if you don't like the way wild african animals are hunted but not sure why that translates to a video should have never seen the...
Yeah it’s a little odd, what if your trustee is an adult who has kids that are minors (can’t be a trustee themselves). But I think this falls into letters on paper that wouldn’t ever materialize into a real situation where someone demanded the trust and came after someone. In the absence of sone...
I read it that they didn't want someone to play with the suppressor in the supervision of a trustee.
IE if I am the responsible party on the trust "I" can supervise X person using the item. But a trustee on the trust can't supervise that person with the item. So if you had adult children they...
