    Check out fire maple too. I got a 600 ml petrel pot with heat exchange baffles and it was very efficient. Not sure if that would be big enough to cook for you though. They have some larger options with different heat exchanges too.

    Rab Neutrino Pro vs Montbell Alpine Down Parka

    I would be interested too. I have an alpine down parka and consider it to be top in class. It weighs in at 16 oz and it crazy warm. But looking at the specs, I think they would both be similar in warmth. If you aren’t pinching ounces or care that much, maybe go with the one you can find cheapest.

    I think the band intersection with the housing (where it rides on your forehead) is not as comfortable as some headlamps. But for the price, I have no complaints(sofirn). I just used mine for a 9 day hunt and still had battery left when I got home.
