I would go with a 30-year fixed rate loan, even though a 15-year will have a slightly lower rate. You can always prepay principal on a 30 to pay it off sooner, but you won’t have the option of reducing the monthly payment on a 15 if you hit a rough patch. If rates fall significantly, refinancing...
You are obviously not understanding the point. Hunting at night and out of season are illegal, but in NM going out and killing elk in your crops at night isn’t - and that’s the alternative that you are unwittingly proposing for landowners who can’t monetize ranch-only tags and who get unit-wide...
Buffalo Bore’s site says their 10mm Outdoorsman will penetrate more than 3 feet and their 9mm Outdoorsman will penetrate 4-6 feet, so it looks like their tests have the 9mm out penetrating the 10mm.
They absolutely do not, which was exactly the point of my post. Having a ranch-only tag doesn’t allow for hunting out of season or after legal shooting light.
Or perhaps they can be a way for people whose property may only have elk out of season (wintering ground) or at night (crops but no bedding cover) to be compensated for the costs they incur? An alternative to offering landowners in those situations unit wide tags is that they go out at night...
If one was to look at the private land % of elk-occupied acreage in AZ vs NM, they would gain an understanding of why - at least in large part - the states have very different management schemes. It’s comparing apples and oranges.
Once upon a time in N AZ, I found a herd of antelope in an open bowl on top of a timbered cinder cone I was crossing over to get ahead of a herd of elk. My sense is guys don't think antelope live in timber because they don't (or can't) glass for them there. Like most critters, they are where you...
If I had to guess, I would say a 20% reduction in felt recoil vs factory stock w fat LimbSaver. The reduction was very surprising. I only shot if off a bench at paper, so no opinion on spotting hits. 7-08, no can.

There is no space above the vitals but below the spine. Guessing you were over the spine. The top of the lungs are actually slightly above the bottom of the spinal column.
I think you exceeded the definition of the word “run” by applying it to kitchen stuff. That’s about like doing a grilled cheese “build”.
We have some fancy knives but for some reason I just love the Victronox.
From what I have read a single 200 mg dose of doxy can be effective in preventing Lyme if administered up to 72 hours after a tick bite.

Shot mine this AM, a big improvement over the factory stock both in terms of ergonomics and felt recoil, seemed to be a decent bit less even with the thinner pad. The only downside i experienced is the negative comb contacts my ear muffs.
