That's good to hear. I know some outfitters operate like how you mentioned. I was surprised to hear not all of them do. Giving up the last hour of hunting every evening would be pretty tough to swallow at the prices these outfitters are commanding.
I think population densities are hit and miss. I hunted two areas bordering the park this September and we saw zero bears and very little fresh sign in one and just one sow and cubs in the other, but they were down feeding in ag fields. I never felt nervous or in danger in any of those 11 days.
I'm taking my 6 y/o daughter to western Kansas for some spot and stalk deer hunting, her first time, I'm pumped. Also earlier today I was eye'ing my Montana and Wyoming antelope points situations to take my 10 y/o boy on his first western hunt next year. These are the days, I think.
I don't know how anyone could ever make an argument that an 80% lower is practically a firearm. It takes special equipment and expertise to turn one into a 'firearm.'
Maybe there are other examples where the effort or expertise required isn't so high? Dunno.
MOLLE / PALS* has something like a published standard, so one dude's stuff should easily swap over to another dude. That's the innovation...the modularity. The laser cut stuff essentially enables the same functionality without all the webbing straps.
